Centerbrook Client Ranked High

CENTERBROOK, Conn. -- The Quinnipiac University School of Law recently was ranked as the fourth best law school in the nation for the “value and quality” of its academic program, according to the attorney rating service Super Lawyers. In addition, PreLaw magazine named the school's Juvenile Sentencing Clinic as one of the country's 25 most innovative nationwide.

The Top 10 list is based on a survey of graduating students and recent alumni performed in May 2013. Quinnipiac trailed only Columbia Law School, Florida International University College of Law, and New York University School of Law.

Established in 1990 and with a current enrolment of 288 students, the law school moved last fall into new facilities designed by Centerbrook, which repurposed an existing office building on Quinnipiac’s North Haven graduate campus.

Centerbrook Partner Jefferson B. Riley, FAIA, and Principal Jon Lavy, AIA, led the team that designed the 154,749-square-foot, three-floor law school, which houses: 13 classrooms, including seminar-style classrooms and a high-tech collaborative classroom with full digital multimedia capabilities; a 180-seat two-tiered courtroom complete with Judge's Chambers and Jury Deliberation Room; a legal clinic space featuring 40 student work stations; a Law Library set in a two-story library atrium, and a Moot Court and Mock Trial Room.
