Trahan to Participate in AIA CT Webinar

Aaron Trahan, AIA will represent Centerbrook Architects & Planners as part of an AIA Connecticut webinar. The presentation was originally set for May 21, but has been rescheduled to take place on June 11 from 10-11:30 a.m.

Trahan will be joined in the “Creating Your Impact as a Citizen Architect” presentation by Mike Ayles, AIA, NCARB of Antinozzi Associates and AIA Connecticut President George McGoldrick, AIA. The three also presented on the topic at last year’s Connecticut Architecture Conference + Expo.

Per AIA Connecticut’s event and registration page, the webinar will:

- Inspire the architectural industry to explore opportunities in civic/community engagement on a local, state, or national level.
- Provide insight into how architects can participate in several diverse areas of civic engagement.
- Promote a call to action for architects in contributing their knowledge/skills for the greater good.
- Share civic engagement best practices and case studies with other peer participants.

Attendees of the webinar will earn one learning unit for AIA Connecticut Continuing Education.

Trahan joined Centerbrook in 2013. While he has primarily worked on varied projects for Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, including the recently-completed Demerec Laboratory renovation, Trahan has contributed to numerous other designs, namely the Academic Building Addition at UConn Health. He was the 2017 winner of the AIA Connecticut Emerging Architect Award.
