Completed in 1989, this house is the second house designed for the owners. The first was a small, passive solar house built in the seventies and located across the street from this new residence. Not only is this house a considerable move up in size, but the appearance is quite a contrast from their former home. One of the unusual design features is the large, engaged elliptical porch whose configuration is completed in the interior of the house with a curved living room wall. The wall is set opposite a commanding fireplace that is 7 feet in length.
