Centerbrook is a place where work and play are taken seriously. From the compost-enriched architectural soil, as it were, of this creative, collaborative environment, a tradition of parties, annual or otherwise, has taken root over the years. Some are impromptu, while others sport themes, like a “Stayin’ Alive” disco motif or a “Cruise-In” soiree celebrating hot wheels. This summer it was “Camp Centerbrook,” complete with games, canoe races, pies (for eating or throwing), and potluck side dishes, barbeque, and the ice cream truck. Partner Chad Floyd led the campfire sing along on the homemade washtub bass.
