Centerbrook Architects is pleased to announce that Peter C. Majewski, AIA, LEED has been named an Associate in the firm.

Mr. Majewski received a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in 1994, with a minor in art history. An architect with Centerbrook since 2005, Peter’s experience ranges from residential to institutional and academic projects. His work at Centerbrook includes the new Ocean House Hotel in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Now under construction, the Hotel is expected to open in 2010.

While on the West Coast, Peter’s experience with other firms includes serving as Project Manager for the Charles H. Kim Elementary School, a Collaborative for High Performance Schools demonstration school for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Other projects include a performing arts theater for the Thacher School, a private equestrian boarding school in Ojai, California; a synagogue in Agoura Hills, California; a private residence in Beverly Hills; and numerous school renovations throughout southern California.

Mr. Majewski is a LEED accredited architect by the U. S. Green Building Council. He teaches elementary school students Green Design in the Minds in Motion program for the Connecticut Association for the Gifted.

Mr. Majewski is married with two daughters, ages 4 and 7.
