This house in the Connecticut Berkshires on a small lake is now under construction and will be sustainable. Local logs are mounted as a solar screen in front of lake-facing porches. A closed loop geo-thermal system will heat the house. Cherry wood, harvested from the property, will be used for flooring and cabinetry. The building is arrayed as connected wedges to follow the views and sun.
